Heating and air that stays out of sight.
Heat pumps, furnaces and central air, ductless mini splits and concealed ducted systems, installed and serviced for homes and businesses. Ducts go above the ceiling, air comes through slot diffusers, and the outdoor unit is placed and screened.

Most of our repair calls come in on the few hot days Santa Barbara gets. Call anyway, even on a weekend, and we'll tell you honestly how soon we can be there.

What a tune up catches.
Dusty coils and clogged filters make a system work harder and wear faster, and they are easy to miss from the outside. A tune up cleans them and checks the rest of the system before something fails on a hot weekend.

Rebates can change the math. We help you use them.
A heat pump rebate can decide whether an upgrade makes sense. We work with these programs every season and help you meet their requirements, including projects that replace gas heating.

Hidden equipment you can still service.
Concealed systems are planned so a technician can still reach the equipment, and on a repair call we find the problem before anyone talks about replacing it.
Access panels and filters
Filters and the air handler sit where they can be reached without moving furniture.
Duct testing
California requires HERS duct testing on most system changes, and we schedule it.
Clean air
Systems sized to run MERV 13 filters, with HEPA options for bedrooms.
Flat rate pricing
Repairs start with a diagnostic at a set rate. Installation estimates are free and flat rate. See what goes into an estimate, line by line.
Describe the problem.
Tick what your heating or air is doing. You get a short message to text or read on the phone. Jeremy does the diagnosis on the visit.
Safety first. If you smell gas or a carbon monoxide alarm sounds, leave the building and call 911 first.
Call or text (805) 699-1112 and tell Jeremy what you ticked.
Stop here. Leave the building now. From outside, call 911 and the SoCalGas emergency line at 1-800-427-2200. Call us once everyone is safe.
Stop here. Get everyone out into fresh air now and call 911 from outside. Call us once everyone is safe.
Every room we work in.
Five rooms are air: the attic, a bedroom, the hallway, the laundry and the side yard. Choose one to see what we do there. The fire rooms open our fireplace pages.

MERV 13 is the filter level the EPA recommends for wildfire smoke, with HEPA options for bedrooms. The ducts are sized to move air through it.
A good thermostat helps. But it won't fix ducts that don't move enough air. The guide covers where a thermostat or zoning pays off, and where it doesn't.
Dryer lint catches fire easily. A clogged dryer vent makes clothes take longer to dry and is a common cause of home fires. We clean the vent and check the airflow.
Heating and cooling from one system, well suited to mild coastal weather. Near the ocean, salt air is hard on outdoor units, so placement and care matter.

Common questions.
Anything else, call or text me.
Is a heat pump a good choice on the Santa Barbara coast?
Often it is. Winters are mild, and a heat pump heats and cools from one system. We look at your ducts and electrical panel before recommending it.
Can the HVAC equipment be completely hidden?
Usually. Ducts go above the ceiling or below the floor, air comes through slot diffusers, and the air handler goes in a closet, attic or basement. The outdoor unit is placed and screened with your landscape plan.
What does MERV 13 filtration do?
MERV 13 is the filter level the EPA recommends for wildfire smoke. The duct system has to be sized to move air through it, so we plan the two together.
Do you test the ducts?
California requires HERS duct testing on most system changes that involve ducts. We schedule the test and fix leaks so the system passes.
How often should a system be tuned up?
Once a year is a common recommendation. Coils and filters near the coast collect dust and salt, and a tune up catches that early.
Are estimates free?
Yes. Installation estimates are free and our pricing is flat rate. A residential HVAC diagnostic is $220.
