A gas fireplace, planned from the gas line out.
We install linear and traditional gas fireplaces and handle everything behind them: the gas line, the sealed vent, the framing and the permit.

What we do.
Everything here is part of the job, not an extra.
Linear and traditional units
Wide view linear fireplaces with custom surrounds, and traditional gas units. We install Masonlite, Kozy Heat, Ortal, Montigo, Rasmussen and Eiklor Flames, plus what your designer specifies.
Gas line
Sized for the unit and pressure tested before the wall closes.
Sealed vent
A direct vent run to the roof or an outside wall, with the clearances in the manufacturer's manual checked.
Permit and inspection
Gas lines, venting and new appliances generally need a permit. We pull it and meet the inspector.
Recent work.
These photos are from our jobs around Santa Barbara County.

From the first call to the last check.
Estimates are free and pricing is flat rate.
Walk the room
We look at where the unit, the vent and the gas line can go, and what the wall above can take.
Free flat rate estimate
One written number. The number we quote is the number you pay.
Rough in and inspection
Gas line, vent and framing go in, and the inspector sees them before the plaster goes on.
Set, light and test
The unit is set and lit, and every gas fireplace visit ends with a gas leak and carbon monoxide test.

Common questions.
Anything else, call or text me.
How much does a gas fireplace installation cost?
It depends on the unit, the venting route, the framing and the finish. Estimates are free and pricing is flat rate, so the number we quote is the number you pay.
Can I put a linear fireplace under a TV?
Sometimes. Heat rises above the unit, so the manufacturer's clearance and the finished wall have to allow it. We check the manual and plan the wall before framing.
Do I need a permit?
Gas lines, venting and new appliances generally require a permit and inspection with the city or county where you live. Your proposal lists the permit and its cost.
Call or text Jeremy.
Tell me about the room or the system and we'll set up a free estimate. For a repair, text me a photo of the unit first. It often saves a trip.
